Kids First Enterprise Sets a Goal for 2010

Kids First Enterprise has set a goal for 2010.  It’s a simple goal that will change lives – many lives.

The Kids First factory in Vietnam has already made some drastic positive changes in getting the people of Dong Ha Town their own manufacturing and training center which employs a work force consisting of about 20% people with disability.  Making this one small part of the country economically self-sustaining has transformed the lives of the locals.

But they don’t stop there.  In conjunction with Forward Mobility, they have also donated hundreds of wheelchairs to people who would otherwise never be able to afford one.  Fitted with rugged wheels to match the terrain of developing nations, these wheelchairs give people the ability to live a dignified life with disability.

Now, for 2010, Kids First has set a goal.  With the manufacture of 100 wheelchairs per month, they can grow their efforts to reach more people around the globe.  I am launching an effort to help them reach their goal by reaching out to the public and to businesses across the world – make a commitment to fund the production of as many wheelchairs as you are able to.

What’s So Special The Mobility Advocate?

The future of mobility is here – The Mobility Advocate offers innovative mobility solutions to meet your off loading needs.

The Mobility Advocate is a small town New England based company with a big plan!  We offer high quality, unique products developed by Forward Mobility and manufactured in Vietnam by Kids First Enterprise.

Kids First Enterprise is a non profit organization dedicated to helping the disadvantaged people of Vietnam in multiple ways that will empower them with economic sustainability.  The factory employs disabled members of the community, trains the villagers with viable technical skills, and gives the community a local source of employment.  Additionally, the profits made on products manufactured go to the Kids First Rehabilitation Center and Career Training Village.

And as if that isn’t enough, Kids First Enterprise along with Forward Mobility donate pediatric and adult wheelchairs to people of “third world” nations who would never otherwise have the ability to purchase a wheelchair for themselves.  Now that’s awesome!

The Mobility Advocate is proud to support this compassionate and humanitarian cause by offering these products nationally in the U.S.  And what’s more, taking its cue from these great humanitarian companies, The Mobility Advocate has pledged to donate 5% of all sales to organizations that support the wounded veterans of our great country such as the Wounded Warrior Project, Any Soldier, and the Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America.

We will also donate an Innovator Ultra Light Wheelchair for each 10 Innovators sold.  We are committed to letting our troops know that their service and sacrifice for our freedom is appreciated.

The Innovator Ultra Light Wheelchair – the wheelchair reinvented!

This past summer, Earl W. from Massachusetts was visiting Maine.  He has several medical conditions which limited his mobility including back problems and an ankle injury.  While trying to enjoy his vacation, Earl found it difficult to keep up with his family to visit the many tourist attractions Maine has to offer.  When Earl discovered the Innovator Ultra Light Wheelchair through The Mobility Advocate, here’s what he had to say,

“The Innovator Wheelchair enabled me to go places and do things I normally could not manage with my crutches.  It is light weight, easy to transport and comfortable to use.  Great service, reasonable rates, very accommodating!”

Earl would have spent his vacation time struggling with crutches but didn’t – thanks to the Innovator.
